I help individuals and couples who feel stuck after past experiences of conflict or trauma and want better for themselves and their relationships.

You can experience more fulfillment in your life and relationships! I’m here to support you.

I’m the type of therapist who understands that our past experiences–whether cultural, familial, or traumatic–impact us DEEPLY.  Therapy with me will help you manage stress, heal from the past and feel more fulfilled in your life.

You deserve to live the life you want, not what others expect of you! So let’s work together to get you to the place you want to be.

I believe in creating a non-judgmental environment.

You don’t have to suffer alone. Therapy can be a place to openly discuss matters you may not feel comfortable discussing with others.

I understand how culture can play a large role in one’s life.

Growing up with Westernized and South Asian cultural influences, I can understand the impact culture has on an individual’s relationships and overall life experience. Navigating between these identities can add complexity to one’s life. I can help you navigate this as someone who understands. Whether it’s managing family expectations, dealing with cultural stigmas, or finding a sense of belonging, these are all aspects I am familiar with.

Currently, I am pursuing a Doctor of Psychology degree. I have a strong educational foundation in clinical psychology, biology, and social work.

I have worked in a variety of settings, from crisis units with clients (12-18 years old) to adult and geriatric mental health units focused on navigating through grief, change, depression, and trauma. I have experience working with multiple clients at once through group counseling and can provide support to families and couples. My approach to therapy comes from my work as a crisis unit worker, where I focused on three key components: safety, coping, and connection.

Early relationships and environments leave a lasting imprint on our adult lives.

Have you ever had an experience where you could not explain why you acted the way you did? Whether that be with family, friends or a romantic partner, some of our actions are shaped by habits we have become accustomed to seeing or engaging in over the years. I want to help you in finding what those are.

I want to challenge you to get you the life you deserve.

If you’re looking for an understanding and direct therapist, I would love to work with you.

On a personal note…

Some of the things I do outside of studying for my doctoral degree are staying active. I enjoy playing volleyball and appreciate competitive spirits, whether that is through sports or board games like Catan. If I am not in the city, then likely chances are I am camping with friends or family. I believe a bit of quiet time is helpful to stay grounded and build a mindset that can find peace even amidst chaos, so I like to take the time to read and reflect when I can.
