I help couples and individuals who are seeking more connection and intimacy–they want to life with intention rather than going through the motions.
You can experience more fulfillment in your life and relationships! I’m here to support you.
I’m the type of therapist who understands that modern life can get in the way of creating a fulfilling life and deep connection in our most important relationships–it’s hard but it’s not impossible to find what we’re looking for!
My therapy passion is working with couples and relationships of all kinds.
I have experience working with a wide range of couples and relationship issues. I practice from an attachment-focused perspective and help you understand why you experience relationships and interactions with others the way you do. I have a direct yet non-blaming approach that encourages both partners to listen empathetically to each other’s experiences, to communicate openly and clearly rather than making assumptions, and to build a secure relationship foundation.
I believe that change is inevitable.
It can also be incredibly difficult and painful. In the context of a relationship, change can lead to feelings of incompatibility. Incompatibility can feel like the relationship can no longer work. I believe that compatibility in relationships is a lifelong process that can be rewarding beyond measure. In my time with you, we can build the skills to both appreciate your partner as they are now while cultivating the ability to grow and do life together.
There’s no way around it – life is hard. I get it and I’m here for it.
Life can be overwhelming. Between endless responsibilities and expectations, there is no space for YOU. For the things you truly value, for the things that bring you genuine joy and a sense of meaning. One of the things that brings me genuine joy is helping people build lives that resonate with them and feel authentic.
On a personal note…
You can find me walking my dog with my husband, taking road trips to the coast, reading and watching anything to do with European history (if you have recommendations, I’d love to hear them!), and attempting to grow tomatoes.
