Emily Therapist Sacramento

Hi! I’m Emily.

I’m the type of therapist who will help you explore your thoughts, feelings and actions that are uncomfortable for you–or even uncomfortable for others around you.

My clients tell me that things we talk about in therapy really stay with them and help them get to a better place. They also say that I give them the courage to say hard things and make hard changes.

I provide trauma therapy for neurodivergent adults:

I help both diagnosed and undiagnosed neurodivergent women and femmes who have been abused or neglected feel empowered, safe, and lovable.

You feel numb, overwhelmed, and/or ashamed. You might even feel broken, disgusting–like you can’t get your shit together. You’re worried no one will ever love you, that you aren’t normal, that you can’t stick up for yourself–you are afraid of conflict and feel like you mess up relationships.

Through therapy, you can feel empowered, present in your life, and lovable.

I also provide couples therapy:

I help neurodivergent couples understand and communicate complicated emotions and create deeper, meaningful connections.

You feel angry, scared, and overwhelmed. Your arguments are getting worse. You feel like you can’t ever just talk to one another about how you’re feeling. You each feel so alone in this relationship. You are worried that you’ll change, that your partner will never be able to understand, and things will never get better.

Through therapy, they feel like their feelings are important, like they aren’t living in the past, and that they really love each other.

On a personal note…

I identify as a queer outgoing introvert. I love to spend my free time going to farmer’s markets and bookstores, gaming, reading, and spending quality time with my loved ones and pets. I’m a lover of podcasts, true crime, and horror movies!
