Jamie Silva Therapist Sacramento Online CA

Hi! I’m Jamie.

I’m the type of therapist who loves helping people understand their attachment styles and how their past experiences inform their present relationships. You can get unstuck from patterns or situations that are causing you pain.

My clients tell me that I “get it” even when they feel like they aren’t making any sense. Together, we make things make sense, and we discover lots of insight and truth bombs along the way!

I provide therapy for adults:

I help people who are exploring their identities & past experiences, so they can live build healthier relationships, habits, and mindsets.

You are feeling anxious, exhausted, and eager for a change.  You have begun to notice unhelpful patterns in your relationships and you want to grow into a healthier version of yourself. You feel overwhelmed by others’ expectations and you don’t know how to say no.  You might worry that if you express your needs or set a boundary, you are selfish and you’ll disappoint or lose people you love. You know you need to start taking care of yourself, but you feel guilty doing so.

Through therapy, you can feel relaxed, self-assured, and secure in relationships.

I also provide couples therapy:

I help couples who are struggling with insecurity in their relationship, including couples navigating attachment wounds, infidelity, or exploration of non-traditional/diverse relationship structures.

You feel scared and sad, but hopeful for the future. You really love each other and you’re invested in your relationship.  You might be worried you are drifting apart because you don’t feel as close emotionally or physically. You feel like you don’t understand each other anymore, that your partner is too busy with tier own priorities.  Maybe you or your partner shuts down when you disagree–and it drives you further apart. You’re worried you are unlovable and things are never going to get better.

Through therapy, you can feel connected, reassured, and safe in your relationship!

On a personal note…

When I’m not at the office, I get outside and enjoy Midtown as much as possible, whether that means long walks with my dog, bike rides around town, or just people watching at a local spot. Other favorite past times include practicing yoga, listening to music, and naps!
