Hi! I’m Linda.
I’m the type of therapist who intuitively knows what works in therapy after practicing for over three decades.
My clients tell me that I what I say really resonates with them. They can hear my voice outside of session and it helps them grow the life and relationships they want.
I provide therapy for adults:
I help anxious over-functioning people learn that they are safe and deserving of love and care.
You feel scared, resentful, and exhausted. You don’t feel safe in the world, in your emotions and with your internal sensations. You are afraid that something is wrong with you and have a hard time accepting that you are deserving of self-care or care from others. You might get stuck in your worry thoughts, in stories and problem solving for all potential worst-case scenarios. “I can’t relax. I’m always scared. I feel like I’m going crazy or having a nervous breakdown. I should be able to do everything on my own.” These are all thoughts that could be running through your head.
Through therapy, you can feel peace, safety, and you can know you are lovable.
I also provide couples therapy:
I help couples who feel lost from each other to find each other again for even better emotional and physical intimacy.
You feel scared, desperate, and sad. You truly love each other and value your closeness and connection more than anything. As life progressed, the differences that drew you together became a source of misunderstanding and you began to pull away from each other to protect yourselves and preserve the relationship. Now you feel alone, abandoned, misunderstood, and desperately miss each other. When you try to connect, it ends up in a fight and you pull away even deeper into your own “corner,” “cave” or “shell.” It’s so painful and feels like such a loss.
Through therapy, you can feel close to each other; safe with each other; in this together.
On a personal note…
I bring my many years of life experience to my work. I know how life can be such a struggle.
I’ve seen my own life dismantled in ways over which I had no control and I’ve come to appreciate the soul forging nature of hardships and pain. The passion I feel for living a fully engaged, authentic life comes from the deep gratitude I feel for every life experience (painful to joyful) I have ever had.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my 5 adult children—they are my breath and my lifeblood. They resource and rejuvenate me in ways nothing else can.
I love dance fitness classes, spiritual dance and dancing in the moonlight with my daughters to Fleetwood Mac. And for me, watching a science documentary is the perfect way to unwind.
