I help people who are always beating themselves up in their heads–sometimes you feel like it’s your fault that you feel so lonely, unappreciated, and unloved.
You can experience more fulfillment in your life and relationships! I’m here to support you.
I’m the type of therapist who just gets it after over three decades of being a therapist and let’s just say even more decades personally navigating the same types of challenges my clients come to me with.
Prior to joining Love Heal Grow, I practiced in the Silicon Valley with folks who balance high-pressure jobs, high-pressure parenting, high-pressure family and social life and feel the high stakes at risk if you don’t show up to life like you have it all together.
Inside, they are hurting, scared and worried they aren’t enough.
Yes, even the doctors, lawyers and CEO’s I’ve worked with.
Can you relate?
I have, over and over again, witnessed the freedom and joy people find when they learn that they no longer need fear themselves or avoid their emotions, sensations, thoughts or fears.
We all have a bully in our heads sometimes. Yelling at us to do better, be more. Can you relate?
I love using mindfulness based practices, to help my clients learn to find peace and wisdom in being present to their own emotions and living within their own bodies.
This helps us disconnect from that bully that keeps us stuck, so we can finally create the life and relationships that we dream about.
I teach my clients that emotions don’t need to be fixed—they need to be tended.
Emotions are exquisitely rational. Although they may show up out of context and belong to another place, time, or experience, they will always make sense.
I’ll help you learn that your emotions are here for your greatest well-being, that you no longer need to avoid, control, or get rid of them. You can use their wisdom, their energy to make informed choices, ease suffering, loneliness, and helplessness.
I trust my clients and respect their process unconditionally. Whatever you are doing, however you have learned to cope, even if it is now causing you pain or keeping you stuck, it once had survival value. We will explore this together, with reverent curiosity. In a space of safety and acceptance, I will support you to meet the challenges that will bring you fully alive and present in your life and your relationships.
I bring my many years of life experience to my work. I know how life can be such a struggle.
I’ve seen my own life dismantled in ways over which I had no control and I’ve come to appreciate the soul forging nature of hardships and pain. The passion I feel for living a fully engaged, authentic life comes from the deep gratitude I feel for every life experience (painful to joyful) I have ever had.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my 5 adult children—they are my breath and my lifeblood. They resource and rejuvenate me in ways nothing else can.
I love dance fitness classes, spiritual dance and dancing in the moonlight with my daughters to Fleetwood Mac. And for me, watching a science documentary is the perfect way to unwind.
