I help individuals and couples cope with stress and overwhelming experiences so they can live a more connected and joyful life.

You can experience more fulfillment in your life and relationships! I’m here to support you.

I am the type of therapist who will listen to you and you will be heard in a way that helps you feel not so alone. I offer actionable steps that you can take at home and we can look deeply at your past experiences to help you heal.

Sometimes it feels as though there is no answer and you have tried it all. I can help you work through the tough stuff so you can enjoy life again.

I work with pregnant parents coping with anxiety, postpartum parents feeling stressed and sad, parent couples who feel disconnected and co-parents or blended families managing new dynamics.

I love working with parents!

It might seem like we have everything figured out and then we become parents and we’re knocked right back down again!

Parenting is rewarding (of course!) but it can wreak havoc on our mental health, physical health, and relationships, too!

The expectation to do it all can be so much.

Being a parent, student, child, community member, employee, home manager and/or volunteer and all of the other roles can be overwhelming, even paralyzing.

Especially in a world where it feels like we are more disconnected than ever before.

You might feel like there are always people are you letting down.

Or maybe you’re the one who keeps feeling let down by others.

Life is hard and the stress can feel like too much.

It will not always be easy but it does not always have to be so hard.

The hardest part about being a grown up is knowing when to practice acceptance for the hard stuff and when to make change so that life can be more enjoyable.

In therapy we explore what we value most in life and what we have control over–then we can make a map of what you may decide to change to help you breathe easier.

Sometimes the things that hurt us most aren’t things we can change. I know from my many years as a therapist that those are the times we need space to vent our thoughts, feel our feelings, open up about our experiences, and grieve.  This helps us move forward with less resentment, anger, guilt, and shame.

Let us celebrate the successes and manage the hardships.

There will be good days and not so good days.

I am equally looking forward to being there for you through both.

Life can feel better again.

On a personal note…

I love the outdoors, finding ways to enjoy life and spending time with those who support me. I enjoy a good cheese paired with a good laugh.  Let me help you find the joy in life again.
