I help exhausted parenting couples stop hating themselves and each other.
You can experience more fulfillment in your life and relationships! I’m here to support you.
I am the type of therapist who has practiced for a very long time–I am confidently able to help folks do deep work and I’m also down to earth with a sense of humor.
I love supporting working parents who are juggling it all.
You are exhausted.
Whether you are up worrying about feedback from your kid’s teacher, helping little ones sleep through the night, or rushing around getting kids to sports practice, parenting takes up A LOT of your time and energy.
Your career is also important to you and you’ve worked hard to get where you are now.
But parenting shifts your priorities and it can feel like you’re always letting someone down whether it’s your people at work or your family.
On top of everything, you might feel like you don’t even like your partner anymore.
That’s not fair.
You do like them; it’s just hard.
It’s not what you expected and when you do connect it’s mostly to discuss logistics or to get in the same ol’ fight you’ve had for years.
I help by using trauma-informed therapy to heal past hurts and decrease anxiety; emotionally focused couples therapy to help partners feel more connected than ever; and science-backed interventions to help you decrease stress.
In therapy we can help you find a way to feel connected to your partner again–you can feel loved, understood and close intimately!
We can also find strategies to decrease working-parent stress so we can show up with love for our kids and get them through the tough stuff.
As we work on these things together in therapy, many clients notice that self confidence grows and they feel better about themselves. Because when we feel secure in our relationships, we can feel more secure in ourselves.
Life can feel joyful.
On a personal note…
I’m a working parent who gets it. I love the outdoors, finding ways to enjoy life and spending time with those who support me. I enjoy a good cheese paired with a good laugh.
