Love Heal Grow, a BIPOC-owned private pay psychotherapy practice in midtown Sacramento.
We specialize in relational, trauma-informed care for adult individuals, couples, families & teens.
Therapists of color, LGBTQ+ identifying therapists, sex-positive therapists are highly encouraged to apply to meet the need of our diverse clientele.
POSITION INFORMATION:
This position is perfect for a skilled psychotherapist who loves working relationally with adults and couples, and is looking for a home at a professional private pay group practice. We offer a supportive and positive work culture, great work-life balance, rapid client referrals, on-going trainings, and competitive pay and benefits.
All hired therapists at Love Heal Grow participate in a 6 month training & educational period in addition to seeing clients; this includes 5 hours a week of paid advanced trainings to further their skills as a therapist.
Pay & Benefits:
Pay starts at $80+ per clinical appointment for licensed therapists & $40-50+ per clinical appointment for associate therapists, dependent on experience, plus hourly pay for training, staff meetings and other assigned responsibilities.
-Option to increase your fee and bonuses after 6 months.

Our dream candidate will:

-Be passionate about inclusive and equitable care for diverse people, and excited to take part in trainings on LGBTQ+ affirmative care and anti-racism work.
-Have a strong sense of self and be a life-long learner who seeks additional resources independently as needed.
-Use a relational approach in all work and connects strongly to at least one of the following therapy descriptors (or similar ways of practice): rogerian/person-centered, experiential, gestalt, psychodynamic/psychoanalytic, process-oriented, emotionally-focused couples therapy, existential, depth psychology. Your clients describe you as warm and deeply empathic. You practice good boundaries with clients and colleagues.
-Be extremely organized, responsible, and tech-friendly.
-Be no stranger to the client experience in therapy. You’ve connected to your own therapeutic/healing work, and continue to self-monitor, seek support and practice good self-care.
-Have a current State of CA BBS registration as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Psychologist, LCSW or LPCC.
-Be experienced in providing counseling services to adults and/or couples.

-You want to work at a group practice for 1-2 years to learn the ropes/build a caseload and then plan on bouncing to launch your own practice. We are looking for therapists who want to work in a group setting for the long term.
-You only thrive with constant contact with colleagues/supervisors. We are a hybrid in-person/telehealth practice and we all have varying schedules. While we support regular consultation and offer a friendly work environment, majority of your time as a therapist will be spent working independently.
-You don’t recognize systemic racism, sexism, ableism, and homophobia as oppressive in our society and traumatic for marginalized people.
**Mandatory Time/Day commitment: Commitment is a minimum of 15 client hours for part time and 24 client hours for full time, 12 clinical hours must be in prime client times (evening or weekends).
Pay: Up to $120,000.00 per year, dependent on caseload and experience.
