Hi! I’m Natalie.
I’m the type of therapist who uses science-based methods, compassionate care, and fun & laughter.
My clients tell me that I help them feel safe and accepted–that I really take the time to understand what they are saying. Some have said that they find themselves asking “what if Natalie was in the room with us” when heading to an argument and it helps them slow down and recalibrate.
I provide therapy for adults:
I help folks whose brains go blank when asked questions like “what are you feeling?” or “how can I help?”
You feel deflated, intimidated, and lonely. You have a hard time accepting help when it is offered, partners might tell you that you’re not emotionally available, and you don’t think your family gets you. You might feel very compassionate for others and can often avoid conflict or minimize your own needs–you feel uncomfortable “feeling seen” and you may have some shame about your identity.
Through therapy, you can feel empowered, receptive, and reassured.
I also provide sex therapy:
I work with folks who have perused tons of books, listened to so many podcasts, and are still stuck when it comes to navigating their sexual challenges.
You feel exhausted, discouraged, and perplexed. You love each other so much and there is so much good in your relationship! You worry you will never have sex again, or that if you can’t fix your sex life it means that you are incompatible. “We know what we should be doing, but when we are in the moment, everything we know goes out the window,” you might tell me about your sex life.
Through therapy, you can feel confident, relaxed and connected sexually and emotionally.
On a personal note…
I identify as a queer, poly, gender-expansive femme of Mexican descent. I am a fan of gardening, houseplants, games (table top and video), crafting, and music of all genres. Nothing brings me more joy than regaling my loved ones with delicious food and my offbeat sense of humor.
